These icons are some of the images used in the 'journey' from Market Square to the private garden. These were used in association with sounds captured from the garden itself, which were played back through a headset in the installation.

The experiences within the installation created a space which made the day-to-day environment of Nottingham’s city centre an exhibit in its own right. Slide projections within the unit depict the physical journey from the viewers position to the garden itself. Sounds captured from the private garden were re-played within the isolated environment of the ‘head box’ to amplify the contrast between environments.
